NPUA was established in 1933. NPUA central educational complex is located in Yerevan, and its branches are in Gyumri, Vanadzor and Kapan. NPUA college and High School function under the auspices of the university. The university implements secondary, higher and post university professional education. Currently, Polytechnic university is a leading institution in national higher technical education and enjoys its reputation not only in our country, but also beyond its borders. Here, research is carried out in the different spheres. During 85 years of operations, there are more than 125000 alumni of the Polytechnic in the country that molded the engineering potential, scientific and technological community and industrial governance of the Republic of Armenia.

The NUACA is the only university in the sphere of education and science of the Republic of Armenia in the field of architecture and construction. It is a university with a hundred years of history. Five faculties of NUACA (Architecture, Design, Construction, Urban Economy & Ecology, Management & Technology) provide 23 Bachelor, 22 Master Degree, and 8 Postgraduate study programs. Since 1994, the diploma awarded to the graduates of the Faculty of Architecture has been officially recognized by the French government as equivalent to the French one. In 2015, NUACA received a European Institutional Accreditation Certificate, and on November 29, 2022 the NUACA was awarded by 6-year institutional accreditation.

The Faculty of Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Architecture at the University of Maribor strives to create, develop and expand engineering know-how in the field of civil engineering, architecture and traffic and transportation engineering.

University of Bihać is a public institution which organizes and conducts university study programmes and research activites, provides expertise and develops creativity in the areas of science, technology, humanities and art. The seat of the University is in Bihać. It was founded on 28 July 1997. Yet, the roots of higher education in Bihać go back to the 1970s. Today, University of Bihać has seven faculties which offer 30 different study programmes. So far, 4935 students finished their studies at the University of Bihać. The University has 15827 square metres of useful facilities for the students and 145 members of academic staff.

At the Department of Architecture, we challenge future architects in developing critical thinking, through extensive one-on-one communication with academic staff in formal reviews and informal interactions. Our culturally and ethnically diverse student community works collaboratively on different scales of engagement from design projects to summer schools, student clubs and exchange programs. With the design studio focused on the intense exploration of the contemporary most creative design processes, the program attempts to provide fundamental understanding of society and culture, materials and techniques of construction, the significance of the natural and built context, historical process, critical thinking, and the diverse forms of creative expression.
